During treatment, you are in a program with other service members (living quarters may include service members and civilians). You can expect individual and group therapy. Specialized tracks are available for trauma, substance use disorder and other conditions as needed. You have dedicated times for meals, exercise, phone calls and computer use.
We are in-network with VA Community Care and TRICARE® for mental health and substance use disorder treatment. We also accept CHAMPVA, Medicare, Medicaid and most other insurance plans.
The COMPACT Act entitles honorably discharged veterans and former service members to emergency mental health care in a suicidal crisis. You can go to any VA or civilian facility for treatment at no cost. You do not have to be enrolled with the VA to receive care.
Items that are allowed vary by facility. You receive a detailed packing list before treatment begins.

In general, you should bring:

  • Identification and insurance cards
  • List of current medications
  • Contact information for healthcare providers
  • Comfortable clothing and pajamas (no strings)
  • Slip-on shoes (no laces)
  • Appropriate reading material

Service members are typically put on medical TDY orders if traveling out of the area; Veterans may be entitled to travel benefits if care is not available or appropriate in your home town area. Family members may be eligible for transportation assistance if there is financial hardship. Call us if you have questions or concerns. Our goal is to get you the care you need.

We welcome service animals in compliance with federal and state guidelines.
We work closely with your referring provider and military installation to facilitate your ongoing care after treatment at our program. We can connect you to outpatient therapy services, social services, specialists and other resources as needed.
